Last updated: May 27, 2026

This Safety Notice applies to applicable products supplied by HIGVR HONGKONG LIMITED ("HIGVR"), including HIG Glove products, firearm-like VR controllers such as applicable HIG-M4 configurations, and haptic modules. Read this notice and all instructions supplied with your product before use.

1. General Safety

  • Use each product only for its described VR accessory, haptic or simulation purpose and only with compatible equipment.
  • Inspect the product before use. Do not use a product with exposed wiring, damaged casing, damaged battery, abnormal heat, swelling, unusual odor or other visible damage.
  • Do not disassemble, modify or attempt unauthorized repair of a product.
  • Keep products, packaging and small parts away from children where they may present choking, entanglement or misuse risks.
  • Stop use immediately if a product creates pain, dizziness, loss of balance, numbness, overheating, electric shock sensation, irritation or other unusual discomfort.

2. HIG Glove and Wearable Product Safety

  • Confirm fit and range of movement before intensive use. Do not overtighten wearable components.
  • Stop use if you experience skin irritation, excessive pressure, pain, numbness or restricted circulation.
  • For hygiene and safety reasons, a worn skin-contact product is not eligible for change-of-mind return, subject to mandatory legal rights.
  • Do not use a wearable product if it is wet or damaged, or in circumstances where cables or straps may create an entanglement hazard.

3. Haptic Module Safety

  • Begin at a comfortable feedback intensity and increase only if safe and comfortable for you.
  • Do not continue use if haptic feedback produces pain, unusual discomfort or excessive heat.
  • Use only suitable charging or power accessories specified or approved for the product.
  • Do not expose electronic or battery-powered modules to water, excessive sweat, fire, high heat, crushing or impact.

4. Firearm-Like VR Controller Safety

Firearm-like HIGVR controllers are VR accessories only and are not real weapons. Their appearance may nevertheless cause them to be mistaken for real weapons.

  • Do not display, carry or use a firearm-like controller in public places or in any way that could reasonably cause alarm or confusion.
  • Store and transport the product securely and discreetly, consistent with applicable local laws and carrier requirements.
  • Do not remove safety markings or modify, paint, reconfigure or present the product in a manner that makes it more likely to be mistaken for a real weapon.
  • You are responsible for confirming that purchase, import, possession, transportation and use are permitted in your destination and circumstances.
  • Some destinations or carriers may not accept shipment of firearm-like products. See our Shipping Policy.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the user is responsible for consequences arising from unlawful public display, transportation, possession or unauthorized modification of a firearm-like controller. This statement does not limit any product liability that cannot legally be excluded.

5. Medical and Accessibility Considerations

If you have a medical condition, implanted medical device, sensitivity to vibration, mobility limitation or other concern that may be affected by haptic or wearable products, consult an appropriate professional before use. Stop use and seek assistance if you experience concerning symptoms.

6. Reporting a Safety Issue

If you experience a product safety issue or believe a product may be damaged or unsafe, discontinue use and contact us with your order information and details of the issue.
