2.2 Install a Controller Mount or Tracker
This section uses the Quest-series mount as an installation example. Different devices require mounts or Tracker bases that match their models, and do not use mismatched parts to force installation.
Quest-Series Installation Example
- Make sure the left and right directions of the mount are consistent with the current glove.
- Place the mount at the installation position of the data box and secure it with the corresponding fasteners as shown.
- Install the controller and check whether the engagement is stable.
- Rotate your wrist and complete the movements of opening your hand and making a fist, and confirm that the controller, mount, wires and finger modules do not interfere with each other.

Expected Result
The position tracking device is reliably fixed, the left and right directions are correct, the movements of fingers and wrists are not blocked, and the wires and modules are not squeezed.
If the Check Fails
If the model does not match, cannot be firmly fixed, or interferes during movement, the installation should be stopped immediately, take pictures of the mount, device, and installation location and contact support.
