The primary risks of gun-shaped VR controllers in commercial settings are being mistaken for real weapons, as well as collisions and trips in multiplayer venues.
Gun-Shaped VR Controller Safety Tips
- The HIG-M4 3.0 is a VR accessory, not a real weapon. Do not display, carry or use in public places; please confirm destination laws, shipping rules and site requirements before transporting, importing, purchasing and using. Do not remove safety markings or modify the appearance to make it more likely to be mistaken for an actual weapon.
Venue requirements
- Keep at least 1.5 meters of open space when using.
- Remove clutter from the floor to avoid collision with furniture, walls, screens and other people.
- Avoid strong magnetic field environment to prevent sensor damage.
Operational requirements
- On-site personnel should explain that the product is a VR accessory.
- Shipping and storage should be discreet, secure, and comply with local laws and shipping rules.
- Stop using it if there is abnormal heat, strange smell, exposed cables or damaged casing.
