5.1 Commercial site troubleshooting
When troubleshooting a commercial site, first restore a reproducible environment, and then determine whether it is a software, SteamVR, game preset or hardware problem.
The connection or icon does not light up
- Make sure the receiver is plugged into your computer's USB port.
- Remove large areas of metal or other objects that may interfere with the signal.
- Restart HigCalibreNG and confirm the status of the connection icon, waving icon, and SteamVR icon.
SteamVR icon is not lit
- Check if SteamVR starts correctly.
- Confirm that the SteamVR add-on 01Daemon is enabled.
- End HigThingsCxxNgExecutable.exe and then reopen it.
Not available in game
- If the HigM4 connection icon lights up, single trigger and continuous trigger are available, but cannot be used when entering the game. Exit the game first with HigCalibreNG.
- Reconnect, select the official preset or Other, and then enter the game.
- If it still fails, record the headset, streaming method, SteamVR version, HigCalibreNG version, game name and screenshot.
