4.1 Check SteamVR and add-ons

The SteamVR add-on and HigThings daemon will affect the linkage between HigCalibreNG and SteamVR.

Check the SteamVR add-on

  1. Confirm that SteamVR is started.
  2. Open SteamVR settings, go to Startup/Shutdown, and select Manage add-ons.
  3. Confirm that 01daemon is enabled.

Restart background program

  1. First end HigThingsCxxNgExecutable.exe; if no process is found, directly close HigCalibreNG.
  2. Right-click the HigCalibreNG desktop shortcut and open the file location.
  3. Enter the 01daemon and HigThings related directories in turn.
  4. Find and run HigThingsCxxNgExecutable.exe.
  5. Wait a few seconds for the command prompt window to see if the receiver and glove are detected again.
Open the location of the HigCalibreNG file
Enter the installation directory from the desktop shortcut.
Find the 01daemon folder
Go to the 01daemon folder.
Find the HigThings directory
Continue to the HigThings related directory.
Find HigThingsCxxNgExecutable
Run HigThingsCxxNgExecutable.exe.
HigThings command prompt window
Wait for the program to detect the receiver and glove.
