1.4 Sizing, Device, and Software Preparation
Select the glove size based on palm circumference, and prepare HiggloveNg, a VMC receiver, a virtual avatar, and any spatial tracking devices required for your setup.
Measuring Palm Circumference
- Keep your hand naturally relaxed and extended. Do not include the thumb in the palm circumference.
- Wrap a flexible measuring tape around the widest part of the metacarpals, keeping it snug but not tight.
- Record the measurement in centimeters. If there is a significant difference between your left and right hands, use the larger measurement.

| Size | Palm Circumference |
|---|---|
| S | 18.5–20 cm |
| M | 20–21.5 cm |
| L | 21.5–23 cm |
| XL | 23–24.5 cm |
