Notes on Combined Use with SlimeVR, Rebocap, Trackers, and Other Devices
Assign each device set to its own data: HIG Glove handles the fingers, while other devices handle the arms, hand position, or body tracking.
Position-tracking sources
Controllers, Trackers, SlimeVR, Rebocap, or other tracking solutions can serve as position-tracking sources. The actual combination depends on the receiver configuration and the user's project settings. A device-by-device compatibility list is not currently provided.
Configuration principles
-
Retain body or position tracking.
Allow the tracking solution selected by the user to continue providing the body and position data for which it is responsible.
-
Reserve finger input for HIG Glove.
Transmit finger bone data through HiggloveNg's VMC output.
-
Disable duplicate finger inputs.
If other devices also send finger data to the character, disable the duplicate finger inputs to prevent two data streams from controlling the same set of bones simultaneously.
-
Add tracking sources one at a time.
First verify HIG Glove finger movement, and then add body or position-tracking sources one at a time. Refer to the current receiver version for the specific menu location.
Completion criteria
The selected tracking solution drives the body and hand positions, while HIG Glove drives the fingers. After other capture sources are added, the fingers do not continuously jump or become overridden.
