3.2 Connect the Receiver and Pair the Gloves

The consumer version uses 1 wireless receiver. The following images help identify the receiver, software main interface, and glove connection icons.

Steps

  1. Start HiggloveNg Beta 1.0.6 while keeping both gloves powered off.
  2. Plug the wireless receiver into a USB port on the computer. Make sure there are no large metal objects or other obstructions near the receiver that could block or interfere with the wireless signal.
  3. Check the receiver status in the software. If it is not recognized, reconnect it and try another available USB port.
  4. Power on both gloves. Blue means not connected; green, yellow, or red means connected, with the color also indicating the current battery level.
  5. If the LED is blue, follow the pairing tutorial to complete pairing.
  6. Confirm the status and finger icons for both the left and right gloves in the software.

The software recognizes the wireless receiver and left and right gloves, the power light displays green, yellow or red, and finger movements produce continuous responses.

If the Check Fails

If the receiver or gloves are still not recognized, first move nearby large metal objects and obstructions away and try another USB port. If the issue persists, record the software version, USB connection, surrounding environment, interface status, and LED state, then contact support.
