1.4 Sizing, Device, and Software Preparation

Select the glove size based on palm circumference, and prepare HiggloveNg, a VMC receiver, a virtual avatar, and any spatial tracking devices required for your setup.

Measuring Palm Circumference

  1. Keep your hand naturally relaxed and extended. Do not include the thumb in the palm circumference.
  2. Wrap a flexible measuring tape around the widest part of the metacarpals, keeping it snug but not tight.
  3. Record the measurement in centimeters. If there is a significant difference between your left and right hands, use the larger measurement.

Size Palm Circumference
S 18.5–20 cm
M 20–21.5 cm
L 21.5–23 cm
XL 23–24.5 cm
