3.3 Complete Gesture Calibration
Complete the calibration in the order shown in the HiggloveNg interface. Keep your movements natural; do not deliberately spread your fingers or clench your fists with excessive force.
Start Calibration
- Confirm that the gloves fit securely and that the TMR and N52 modules are not colliding or lifting away.
- Open the configuration and calibration area in HiggloveNg.
- Select gesture calibration and follow the on-screen instructions to begin.

Post-Calibration Check
- Straighten and bend each of the five fingers individually, then make a natural fist.
- Check that the left- and right-hand movements in the software are continuous and move in the expected directions.
- If you notice an issue, first check the glove fit and module positions, then recalibrate once.
When to Recalibrate
Recalibrate when the wearer changes, the glove position changes, the gloves are reassembled after cleaning, or the TMR/N52 module positions change. You can recalibrate during use without stopping VMC output first.
Expected Result
All five fingers on both hands respond continuously, with no noticeable jumps, sticking, or reversed movement.
If Calibration Fails
If the second attempt also fails, stop calibration, save the software version, the failure screen, details of the affected finger, and photos showing how the gloves are worn, then contact support.
Next Step
When finger movement is working correctly, continue to 4.1 VMC Data Flow and Scope of Use.
