2.2 Install the Controller Mount or Tracker Base
This section uses a Quest-type mount as the installation example. Each device requires a mount or Tracker base designed for its model. Do not force installation using incompatible components.
Quest-Type Installation Example
- Confirm that the mount is oriented for the same hand as the glove.
- Position the mount at the mounting point on the data box and secure it with the specified fasteners as shown.
- Insert the controller and check that it locks securely in place.
- Rotate your wrist, open your hand, and make a fist. Confirm that the controller, mount, wires, and finger modules do not interfere with one another.

The position-tracking device is securely attached and oriented for the correct hand. Finger and wrist movement is unrestricted, and the wires and modules are not compressed.
If Installation Fails
If the model is incompatible, the device cannot be secured, or components interfere with movement, stop the installation immediately and contact support.
