3.1 Install HiggloveNg 1.0.6
Use Windows 10/11 x64 and HiggloveNg 1.0.6. Before installation, check the download source, installation path, and Windows username.
Download the Installer
- Go to HIGVR Download.
- Download the Windows version labeled HiggloveNg 1.0.6.
- Verify the file name and version. Do not use an installer from an unknown source or for another project.
Path and Username Requirements
- Do not use Chinese characters in the installation path.
- The Windows username should contain only English letters, numbers, and underscores. Do not use Chinese characters or other special characters.
- You can check the path in the Location field under the downloaded file's Properties, for example,
C:\Users\Username\Downloads.

Complete the Installation
- Close any software you do not need.
- Run the installer and select a directory that meets the requirements.
- Start HiggloveNg after the installation is complete.
- Confirm that the software version displayed in the interface is 1.0.6.
Expected Result
HiggloveNg starts normally, the installation path and Windows username meet the requirements, and the current version has been recorded.
Upgrade from an Earlier Version
Uninstall the earlier version first, delete its original installation folder, and then install the new version. The new application will recreate the folder, preventing old files from affecting the new version.
If Installation Fails
If installation or startup fails, save the Windows version, installer name, full path, and a screenshot of the error. Do not use firmware procedures as a substitute for troubleshooting the software installation.
