  2. 1.1 Intended Users and Usage Limitations

1.1 Intended Audience and Scope of Use

This manual is intended for procurement, project implementation, device management, acceptance testing, and development personnel. It covers the public processes for the Business Edition HIG Glove, from product selection through project delivery.

Intended Roles

Role Primary Tasks
Procurement and project leads Confirm the SKU, quantity, size, haptic feedback edition, optional components, and delivery scope.
Implementation personnel and device administrators Verify channel assignments and complete installation, donning, connection, calibration, and asset registration.
Acceptance testers Verify the degrees of freedom, haptic feedback points, and button capabilities against the order, item by item.
Developers Complete data integration and version verification after obtaining the project SDK and license.

Publicly Documented Scope of Use

  • Communication channels are configured on the Business Edition at the factory; users do not need to perform pairing.
  • Multiple pairs of gloves can be deployed in the same environment, but receiver-and-glove combinations must be managed according to the project channel assignment table.
  • The Business Edition does not depend on a single standardized software application; SDKs and examples are requested and delivered on a per-project basis.
