03.01 Receivers, Channels, and Multi-Glove Deployment

  1. Business Customer / Developer Integration Manual
  2. 3.1 Receivers, Channels, and Multi-Glove Deployment

3.1 Receivers, Channels, and Multi-Pair Glove Deployment

Before shipment, the Commercial Edition gloves and receivers are configured with project-specific communication channels. During deployment, group and record the devices by channel; do not use the consumer pairing process.

Multi-Pair Glove Deployment

  1. Assign a unique asset ID to each pair of gloves.
  2. Use the project delivery sheet to record the correspondence among the left and right gloves, receivers, and channel groups.
  3. Connect devices in batches. Check each group as it is connected to avoid being unable to identify a mismatch after connecting all devices at once.
  4. Each Standard Edition set uses 1 receiver; each Haptic Feedback Edition set uses 2 receivers.
  5. Do not interchange receivers between different channel groups or projects.

Important

The public manual does not disclose specific channel numbers or channel programming methods. If a mismatch is found, have HIGVR or the project owner verify the configuration. Do not ask users to pair the devices again or reprogram the channels.

Completion Criteria

Each glove set, receiver, and asset ID has a one-to-one correspondence, with no cross-response after multiple sets are connected.

Next Step

After completing the records, proceed to 3.2 Power-On and Automatic Connection.
